a lot of catching up

so i haven't been keeping up with my blog like i should. life gets in the way sometimes ;)
here is a recap of the last couple of months...

WARNING: THIS IS THE LONGEST POST EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
(and i didn't feel like cropping any pics)

thought this was funny...

liz and i last year seeing twilight (for the second or third time)

liz and i last night at the midnight showing of new moon. pretty funny don't ya think!

angie and liz sitting in front of miranda and i

miranda being goofy as we wait patiently for the movie to start.

this is before we headed out to denny's and the movie. miranda felt special because i invited her to hang out with us big girls. i know she had school today but hey you only live once, right? i just hope she passed that test that counts for 70% of her grade ;)

during the first 30 minutes or so...right when edward leaves bella in the woods...some guy in the theater got up and tripped. SMASHED his head! it was really scary. it sounded like glass shattering he hit it so hard. i was torn...look at him and all the police and emergency help hauling him out on one of those boards they strap you down on or watching bella curl up into a ball calling for edward. i know i know, hard decision...no really i hope he is ok. it didn't look good.

this is miranda playing at a volleyball tournament. she has improved so much this year. so proud of her.

here i am a few hours after my surgery. i just had a scope done on my ankle to remove some scar tissue from my soccer injury back in june. so i'm back in that stinky old boot again. i have 2 more weeks to go. i'm still going to the gym but i miss the cardio! i need to run!!!

we had a chance to go to our first nascar race thanks to hubby's work. here are a few pics...

lg and kimber at our "tail gate" party

two of my goofy girls

the stinky boot

lg decided we are newman fans...as she says it "new man"

zz top preformed before the race...it was sad people! i loved them back in the day but they could barely move! and they were the ones to say "gentlemen start your engines". you could hardly hear them and they talked very slow. totally lost the effect.

lg got the part of john lennon from the beatles in her school play. angie saved the day! i waited to the last minute...seriously...for the costume. that is why her coat is a bit small. yes the sleeves go almost up to her elbows! i know! worst mom of the year award that day! but she did great and everyone loved her! thanks ang for hunting down a jacket and shirt :)

this is kimber and her "favorite cousin in the world" she loves her cj! and i must say i'm a proud aunt. he is only in 10th and playing first string varsity!

here is a pic of a childhood bestie. becky and i haven't seen each other in over ten years! this pic was taken back in the summer the first time i saw her. we didn't have much time...along with her 4 kids and 2 of mine but she came to dallas for a work thing last weekend and i went to visit her. dumb me didn't take my camera! ugh! it was so fun catching up. i have missed her so!

this was the official last "byd" of the summer. BDA baby! love my girls! that trampoline has lots of memories ;)

here is the first day of school back in august. i had to just about pull some teeth to get them to take it. they are growing up to fast!

ok, that's enough for now. i have lots more but tired of loading all the freakin pics. i'm working on some scrappy projects i will share when i'm done.

later

Dang that was long, but woweee you have been a busy lady! You know I love me some Nascar and someday I will get to the Texas track. How far is it from your house? I saw New Moon last night. Really not sure what to think yet...
